In sections 128 and 129 we read of human beings having exclusive access to beyng via the self, of nothingness, not as negativity, but as a no that is an essential, creative yes, and of the spurious distinction between affirmation and negation. We then talk about how these ideas point to problems with escaping the delusions and anxieties of liberalism, for when we try to say no to liberalism, the liberalism in our minds takes it as a simple negative, not as the beginning of a refusal that allows the appropriation by beyng and thus the truth of beyng. In short, liberalism is hard to leave because it defines what is outside it as en empty nullity, and by accepting that definition, we fail to leave liberalism.
